President
of Pakistan Ramzan Ali Syed Gold Medal, Ophthalmology Society
of Pakistan - 2001, is awarded each year since 1980 to a
Pakistani ophthalmologists for professional and academic
excellence by a committee of five previous recipients. The metal
is awarded according to a point scoring system. I am the
twenty-first recipient from amongst 1500 Ophthalmologist in the
country.

lifetime achievement award year 2000, Awarded to graduate of Liaquat Medical Collage for his/her services for exemplary work
towards cause of liaquatian.

Distinguished Ophthalmic Award, APAO (Asia Pacific academy of
Ophthalmologist) for the Ophthalmic services in the area, awarded
at APAO conference, Bangkok 2003 by Prof, Arthur Lim.

Best Medical University
Teacher of 2003, awarded by Higher Education Committee,
Islamabad, Pakistan Headed by Prof. Atta-ur-Rehman
